Inspire Me Korea Unboxing – November 2017 Posted in: Reviews
Subscription destination boxes have become a favorite way for people with a sense of wanderlust to explore different parts of the world from home. This month I got sent my first Inspire Me Korea box which is a monthly subscription box filled with Korean products. Unlike many destination boxes that focus on food only, Inspire Me Korea gives a more vibrant introduction the country by providing a mixture of snacks, cultural items, beauty products, and a magazine explaining the history and culture of South Korea.
My Inspire Me Korea tradition box included:
- A pair of Korean themed socks with a queen design
- A handmade traditional figure magnet
- KPop photocards
- Korean Red ginseng face mask
- Honey twist snack
- Custard pie
- Strawberry jelly twisty candy
- Tradition themed magazine
The included magazine was sensationally explaining a variety of topics about Korean culture and history. For example, it covered the South Korean royal family, critical moments in history, k-Dramas, common phrases used in k-dramas, festivals, top 5 Kpop music videos, information about Korean beauty products and a delicious sounding recipe for kimchi fried rice. I loved every article in this magazine and happily spent an evening after work pampering myself with the ginseng beauty mask in the box and eating the soft custard cake while learning more about Korean culture and history. As a bonus Inspire Me Korea also has a Youtube channel so you can watch their videos to learn more about Korean cultures, such as their video on the weirdest snacks in Korea.
