Tea Tourist Unboxing – March 2018 Posted in: Reviews, TeaTourist
Tea Tourist is a loose-leaf subscription box that delivers 6 different tea samples from artisan tea companies each month. The large size samples of tea are enough to make around 4 cups of tea, and each of the teas includes a tasting card with details of the flavor notes. Should you particularly love one tea the tasting card also includes information on how to order more of that tea.
The march box of Tea Tourist included
- Morgans Brew – a black tea
- Ceylon Tea – a black tea
- Green Tea With Jasmine – a green tea
- Bright Afternoon – a black tea
- Earl Grey 1833 – flavored black tea
- Safari Oolong – oolong tea
While all the teas in this box were delicious, my two favorites were the Bright Afternoon Tea and the Earl Grey 1833 which has red, blue and white cornflowers in it.
For £12 per box Tea Tourist feels like good value as each box contains a wonderful blend of high-quality teas. In my experience, most of the tea samples make closer to 6 cups of tea, meaning the box will make you more than enough tea to have at least 1 cup per day. Shipping is free within the UK and is available worldwide for a small fee.
Tea Tourist has also recently announced that they will be launching subscription free tea boxes for those of you who prefer one time purchases boxes.
